About Context window visualizer
Large language models silently truncate or error when your prompt, tools, and history exceed their advertised context window. This visualizer reads each model's context size from the same llm-pricing.json file used elsewhere on AllOneTools and plots how much of that budget you are consuming for a typed token total. Vertical markers at seventy and ninety percent are heuristic guardrails many teams use before latency and recall degrade — they are not vendor official thresholds.
Key Features
- Model picker with context sizes from the dataset
- Token usage slider
- Color bands and 70/90% markers
Use Cases
- Teach support engineers why summarization matters
- Quick check before shipping a long RAG prompt
Pro Tips
- Tokenizer differences mean your estimate may be ± a few percent — reconcile with API usage metrics.
